Boone Aiken is the firm’s senior shareholder and founding member of Aiken Bridges. His practice focuses on medical and other professional liability defense, commercial litigation, complex civil litigation and products liability. Boone served as general counsel to McLeod Health for 18 years (2003 – December 2021). Boone is also a certified mediator and mediates disputes in state and federal court.
Boone is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, carries an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbell and has been repeatedly honored as a South Carolina Super Lawyer. The South Carolina Association for Justice awarded Boone the “Worthy Adversary Award” in 2014, their highest honor for a civil defense litigator.
A native of Florence, Boone holds a B.A. from Wake Forest University, and obtained his Juris Doctorate from The University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served on the South Carolina Law Review.
